Status, Motion, and Process Graphics

This section documents More Layout graphics used to display status, motion, progress, time, and process-style visual behavior.

These graphics are commonly used when an MIStudio application needs to show changing values, process state, animated behavior, or equipment-style indicators.

Graphics in This Group

Graphic Description
Indicator Status display graphic used to show value, quality, text, and visual state.
ProgressBar Progress-style graphic used to show a changing numeric value.
Spinner Spinner-style graphic used to display or enter a numeric value.
Chaser Motion-style graphic used to show animated movement or directional activity.
Pump Process-style pump graphic used to show pump state or process equipment.
Fan Process-style fan graphic used to show fan state or process equipment.
Clock Clock graphic used to display time-related information.

Common Uses

Status, motion, and process graphics are commonly used to:

  • Display process status
  • Show changing numeric values
  • Display progress or completion
  • Show motion or activity
  • Represent equipment such as pumps or fans
  • Display time or clock information
  • Build more visual operator screens

Input Behavior
