Basic Layout
Basic Layout is a graphics group in the MIStudio Design Editor palette.
This section documents the graphics found under Basic Layout and organizes them by common behavior, including basic shapes, active controls, text fields, meters, indicators, sliders, and knobs.
Graphics in This Group
| Group | Description |
|---|---|
| Basic Shapes | Fillable shape graphics such as Box, Circle, RoundedBox, GradientBox, and Polygon. |
| Active Controls | Interactive controls such as Button, PushButton, and URLButton. |
| Text Fields | Text input and text display graphics. |
| Meters | Meter-style graphics used to display numeric values. |
| Indicators | Status and value display graphics such as Annunciator, LED, Radial, and SevenSegment. |
| Sliders and Knobs | Interactive value controls such as sliders and knobs. |
Shared Behavior
Many Basic Layout graphics are Active Graphics and may support shared behavior such as:
- Visibility
- Value display
- Data source input
- Labels
- Colors
- Fill behavior
- Font settings
- Bezel settings
- Quality indicators
