The Database category in the MIStudio Logic Editor contains components used to connect to databases, discover database structure, read and write data, and perform database-based analysis.

Database components can be added from the Database category in the Logic Editor palette.

Database workflows in MIStudio may include:

• Creating and configuring a database connection
• Discovering available tables and columns
• Reading data from a database
• Writing or modifying database data
• Sending database results to other logic components
• Building Feature Extractor requests
• Extracting features from historical process data
• Comparing extracted feature sets

The exact components used depend on the database platform and the application workflow.
