==== Overview ====

The MultiImageBean graphic is a More Layout image graphic used to display an image received from logic.

MultiImageBean can be used when an application needs to display an image from another component, such as an image loaded by a URLReader.

MultiImageBean also includes an **Image File List** property for selecting a `.properties` mapping file, but that workflow is less commonly used and is currently under review.

  * Displaying an image received from logic
  * Showing an image loaded by another component
  * Displaying image data from a URLReader
  * Creating image-driven visual displays
  * Switching displayed images based on application logic

==== Input Behavior ====

MultiImageBean uses **valueInput** to receive the image value used for display.

The input can be connected to another logic component that provides image data or an image reference.

==== Output Behavior ====

MultiImageBean has no default output ports.

MultiImageBean displays the image received through its input behavior.

==== MultiImageBean-Specific Behavior ====

MultiImageBean displays image content from an input source.

MultiImageBean-specific settings include:

  * **Name** Sets the name of the MultiImageBean graphic.
  * **Bezel** Sets the MultiImageBean bezel style.
  * **Image File List** Selects a `.properties` file for image mapping behavior.
  * **Image Resizes** Controls whether the displayed image resizes to fit the MultiImageBean bounds.

==== Logic Ports ====

In the Logic Editor, MultiImageBean includes this default port:

  * **valueInput**

The **valueInput** port receives the image value used by the MultiImageBean.

==== Image File List Behavior ====

MultiImageBean includes an **Image File List** property that can select a `.properties` file from **User Files**.

The intended mapping format is:

In this workflow, input values are used to select mapped image resources.

This Image File List workflow is less commonly used and is currently under review.

==== Notes ====

Use MultiImageBean when the displayed image needs to come from logic, such as an image provided by a URLReader.

Use [[mistudio:design_editor:more_layout:image_layout:imagebean|ImageBean]] when one static project image needs to be displayed.

For static image display, add the image to the project **Images** node and select it with ImageBean.

The Image File List `.properties` workflow should be confirmed before relying on it.
